Today the little BRB I bought arrived, he was a little cool to the touch but the temp gun showed he was almost 78F, so he was fine.  BRBs require cooler temps so he was within the range he could handle.  He was tightly curled into a ball in his bag, which was adorable.  Once he'd been in my hands for a few minutes and warmed up, I gently coaxed him to come out of his ball.  He then went to bite me, opening his mouth wide and just kinda plopping his mouth on my fingers a few times.  I didn't feel anything, but he did draw some blood.  I just gave him a quick look over to make sure he wasn't injured and looked cursorily for mites.  I didn't see anything wrong except a slightly crooked jaw when I first got him out, but after he bit me he put it back in place.  When I put him in his tub he hid away for a bit before coming back out to cruise around for several minutes and then buried himself on the cool end of his water dish.  Some flash photos revealed was definitely in shed, and according to the breeder's card he last shed 3 weeks ago so he probably just began the cycle.  I'll give him a week and then I'll try to feed him next week, but being in shed he may not eat.  If not, I'll wait until he sheds.

The mouse shipment arrived at the same time, and the mice are smaller than I thought so I was able to fit everything in the part of the fridge designated for my rodents.  I'll have to take a few rabbits back to my father's and exchange them, though, because they are too large.  He needs ones 8oz or less, 6oz the most preferable, but 3 of them are 10-11oz.  Woops.  Today's feeding day for everyone as I was holding out on feeding Draco and Bud until the mice arrived, and I've extended Cloud's feeding to 5 weeks.  Right now Cloud's rabbits are thawing out, Draco has been fed, and Bud is desperately searching for his mouse.  He wouldn't strike it when I held it front of him, so I set it in his tub.  He found the mice last time I did this, so I'm sure he'll find it eventually. lol

Miyuki hasn't eaten in three of four weeks, and Sebastian hadn't either, but he just ate last week. This is really odd for them, as they usually eat throughout the Winter/Autumn, unless they are in shed sometimes. I figure its the cooler weather that came earlier than
